Achleshwar Mahadev -Temple is located in the ravines of the Chambal River in the Dholpur district of Rajasthan. This temple comes between Morena (Madhya Pradesh) and Agra (Uttar Pradesh). It is built in the ravines of the Chambal River, about 250 meters from the National Highway 44 to 5 km from the district’s headquarters. The special thing with this temple is that the shivalinga installed here changes color three times a day. According to Temple Priest Manoj Das Baba, who is red in the morning, saffron appears in the afternoon and black at night. It is a wonderful event that they come from from far and wide to see. There is no concrete evidence of the exact date of construction of this shivling, but some dedicated regard it as about 1000 years old.
