Program lends hand to low-income animal house owners

A nationwide program is offering support to pet house owners in low-income neighborhoods to cut back the variety of animals despatched to shelters; Pets for Life gives free or low-cost animal medical providers, provides and meals to shoppers. (Sept. 18)
