PeeWee Food Prep Short v4 Song Version2

The Glancaster Bombers Peewee AE team are thankful to be part of a socially responsible hockey team. Players, along with their families and dedicated coaching staff are focused on community, offering support and sharing kindness. Coach Lidio Mancini of Sweet Paradise shared his philosophy of giving back. This inspired the team to reach out to the Men’s Street Ministry. The players spent one evening at Sweet Paradise preparing hot meals and sandwiches which were served to the men at Hamilton’s YMCA Men’s Residence and at one of the many weekly Men’s Street Ministry roadside food services. A Men’s clothing and non perishable food drive was organized, resulting in two truckloads of clothing and over 200 cans of tuna and mayonnaise for the MSM. In lieu of gifts, the team later had a fun night of shopping for the members of their Christmas Adopted family. Finally, the players and families participated in the Glancaster Gives 4 Mackids fundraiser and was recognized as one of the top fundraising teams. These boys realize the importance of helping one another, sharing kindness and caring for our community. We are all very proud of them!
