Nominate college, employees for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Award | Vanderbilt Information

The annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Award will likely be offered on Monday, Jan. 20, to a school or employees member within the College of Medication, College of Nursing or Vanderbilt College Medical Middle who emulates the ideas of King by his or her work.

This service could be in areas associated to creating a greater understanding between folks of various cultures, working to boost the financial and well being standing of people, and/or fostering a various and inclusive group at Vanderbilt symbolic of King’s teachings.

The award will likely be offered on the Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Lecture on Jan. 20. A committee of people from the College of Medication and the College of Nursing will function judges for the award.

Please submit nominations by Friday, Jan. 10. All nominations should embody a letter of advice from the particular person nominating in addition to the nominee’s resume.
