Ingredients for batter –
3 leftover Pav (or 5-6 bread slices)
1/4 cup chickpea flour
1/3 cup Semolina
1/3 cup fresh yoghurt
1/2 cup water (for blending)
1/4 cup water (rinsed from mixer jar)

Ingredients for Baghaar –
2 tsps Oil
1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
1 tsp Chana Dal
1 tsp Urad Dal
6-7 Curry Leaves broken into two
1/4 cup green onion tops finely chopped
2 green chillies finely chopped
1 tsp finely chopped ginger
1 medium carrot finely chopped (approx. 1/2 cup)
1/2 capsicum finely chopped (approx. 1/4 cup)
1/4 cup boiled green peas
1 green onion leaves chopped (approx. 1/3 cup)

Ingredients for Appam –
Batter prepared above
Vegetable mix prepare above
1 pinch asafoetida (Hing)
1 tsp chilli flakes
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Salt (or as per taste)
1/2 tsp fruit salt (or baking soda)
Oil for greasing appam pan
