Our family has strong Hungarian roots (my grandparents on my father’s side both hail from Hungary) so I grew up eating the delicious food that my Grandma Mary used to cook for us. Although not every dish she made for us might have been quintessential “Hungarian” these are the dishes I associate with my Hungarian roots.
