All college are invited to attend this 12 months’s Fall College Meeting, as incoming Interim Chancellor Susan R. Wente discusses targets and priorities for the 2019-20 educational 12 months.
The annual gathering will happen on Thursday, Aug. 22, at 4:10 p.m. within the Scholar Life Middle Ballroom and can embrace remarks from Wente and College Senate Chair John McLean, Stevenson Professor of Chemistry.
Celebratory recognition of colleagues will embrace the 25-year service awards in addition to the best college honor awards: the Earl Sutherland Prize for Achievement in Analysis, the Thomas Jefferson Award, the Chancellor’s Award for Analysis and the Chancellor’s Award for Analysis on Fairness, Variety and Inclusion.
Affiliate Professor of Psychology and Chancellor’s Public Voices Fellow Suzana Herculano-Houzel will ship the annual college presentation.
A reception can be held instantly following the conclusion of this system within the Scholar Life Middle Board of Belief Room.
