San Jose police said they have not apprehended or identified the suspects.

Groups of thieves have struck Apple stores in Walnut Creek, San Mateo and Burlingame in recent weeks, according to police. On Aug. 30, swift-footed suspects grabbed $70,000 in merchandise from the Burlingame store and escaped.

On Sept. 5, three thieves grabbed about 40 products from the Hillsdale Shopping Center Apple Store as it was closing.

The suspects entered the Oakridge Mall store minutes before the 10 p.m. closing time. They were wearing dark clothing and hoodies, grabbed a large amount of merchandise from display tables before escaping, according to San Jose police.
