A teenager died after drowning in a dam in the Parauli Sah Tola village of Wood Naviganj police station in the Siwan district. The deceased was identified as Ankush Kumar, 14, son of Satyendra Ram, resident of the Bamo village of the Baikunthpur police station in the Gopalganj district. Ankush drowned in the lake as he played. Family members said Ankush came to Padauli, his uncle’s uncle’s house, on Wednesday afternoon and played with other children from the village near the dam. He suddenly disappeared as he played. Initially, the family thought he would be somewhere, but when he was not found long, his search was started. After some time, his body was found in the village dam. I came to my uncle’s house with my mother for Chhath Puja. Ankush’s mother Uncle Vinod Ram said that Ankush has two sisters and was the only son of his parents. His mother fasted for ‘Bhado’ Chhath Puja to have children and promised that she would celebrate Chhath festival every year after receiving a son. This year she came to her parents’ home with Ankush to celebrate Chhath Puja. According to family members, the mother of Ankush was preparing for Chhath Kharna before the incident, and then suddenly she got this sad news. Once the mother received information that Ankush drowned in the lake, she reached there. At the time it was too late. In the sadness of losing the only son, the mother is faint again and again and the family is in a bad condition. The police send for post -mortem death. After receiving the information about the incident, Woodaviganj police police reached the place and prepared the body of the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for Post -Mortem.
