Chennai, April 1 (IANS). After a satirizing of the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde, without calling him, Standup-Came Kamra, Kunal Kamra, showed by district Munsif-Sah-Cum right court in Vanur, Tamil Nadu. Kamra approached the Madras High Court on Tuesday and sought bail contrary. It provides temporary protection against arrest in separate jurisdiction against the jurisdiction where a fir was submitted. In the case of the comedian, a fir was registered by Khar police in Mumbai, Maharashtra. In the earlier trial by the Madras High Court, Kamra is interim security of arrest until April 7. Judge Sundar Mohan formally instructed him to appear in the Vanur court for bail. After this assignment, the Vanur -Court gave this relief. It is noteworthy that Kamra parked a song from the Bollywood film ‘Dil to Pagal Hai’ of 1997, which was used to satirize Shinde, which was used to satirize Shinde on March 23. Although he does not call the Deputy Chief Minister directly, Kamra calls him a ‘traitor’, which Shinde’s Party Shiv did not accept. Shiv Sena activists vandalized the venue of the show in protest. A few days later, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) began to demolish some parts of the comedy club, which paid more attention to the incident. After not appearing for questioning, several police officers in Mumbai allegedly visited Kamra’s registered address in the city. However, Kamra criticized the move, saying that he had not lived at that address for more than a decade. He called the police action ‘wastage of time and public resources’. Kamra, who appeared by his lawyer, told the court that his actions had no malicious intention and that he did not criticize any person directly. His lawyer argued that there was no hidden agenda in his comments, claiming that the police were trying to arrest him “without the right reason”. Kamra said jokes about political leaders are not a crime. “Your disability to deny the joke at the expense of a mighty public person does not change the nature of my right,” he said in a public statement. He also allegedly told police that he would not apologize for his comments. The Madras High Court has now ordered Kamra to appear in court on April 7 for further action regarding their bail conditions. The court of Vanur, which temporarily relieves the comedian, is in the Villupuram district of Tamil Nadu. -Ians Ekde/
