Kovid started his devastation in UP, five new cases came up, which doubled the sample!
Uttar Pradesh News Desk !!! The number of Kovid sampling in Uttar Pradesh almost doubled as the cases of Kovid-19 increased worldwide. While genome sequences are ensured for anyone who does positive testing for infection, the Test Positivity Rate (TPR) remains low. According to the data, TPR has been 0.01 over the past 24 hours and five people have performed positive tests in more than 47 thousand tests (including over 23,000 RT-PCR tests). State Monitoring Officer Vikasendu Aggarwal said the sample of each patient doing positive testing for Kovid is sent for genome sequence. There are currently 20 samples for genome sequences in the state. By the third week of December, the average daily sample collection was 27,000 and has now been increased to 50,000 per day. Since the beginning of the epidemic in March 2020, Uttar Pradesh has tested 12,69,78,771 samples. Agrawal said: “There are currently 47 active issues in the state. There was a speed in testing in the light of the Kovid Spike in some countries and the rush of foreign travelers for the new year.” Experts said people traveling outside the state/country should ensure that they stay in the home. Abhishek Shukla, general secretary of the Association of International Doctors, said: “Once someone infects a person, it takes a few days to appear. So people are in the house, it will be the best way to investigate. Contact detection in Lucknow is also tightened.
