Jharkhand ACB arrested the officer who took 3 million bribes in office

Ranchi, June 18 (IANS). The Anti Corruption Bureau arrested Shailesh Kumar of Nava Bazar zone by Palamu district Jharkhand on Wednesday by the anti Corruption Bureau. He took 30 thousand rupes in his office with a ryot for the nomination of the land, when the ACB team caught him according to his plan. This action stirred the Block Cum Zone Office. It was told that a Ryot applied for the landmut. He ran a long time in the Zonal office constantly. When he met Co Shailesh Kumar on this, he demanded bribes. The Rayat was looking for time to arrange the money and has meanwhile lodged a complaint with the ACB. The ACB found the complaint in the investigation correctly. After this, the investigative agency made a strategy of stairs. The Ryot reached the office on Wednesday and arrested him as soon as he gave the bribe. The bribe amount was also confiscated. He is questioned after his arrest. He will be jailed in judicial detention after being produced in court. Earlier on June 5, ACB arrested the executive engineer of rural development, Sunoth Soren, took a bribe of Rs 60 thousand in Ranchi. Executive engineers sought bribes in the name of the release of the bill. After the arrest, the ACB team attacked their home and repaired about 17 lakh calls. Within the last 50 days, ACB and CBI in Jharkhand have arrested more than 20 government officials and employees in bribery and corruption cases.
