Bijapur: Fifth Day of Anti -naxal Campaign, Meeting between Security Forces and Naxalites continues on Kareegutta Hills
Bijapur, April 26 (IANS). The meeting continues on the hills of Kargutta in the Bijapur district that borders Chhattisgarh-Telangana. The meeting has been underway between the security forces and the Naxalites over the past 120 hours. Security forces staff, who returned to Bijapur via Chopper from Chopper, are sent to the Kareegutta hill. The meeting place is located in the inaccessible hilly areas, which makes the situation even more challenging for the security forces. More than 120 hours passed, but the meeting did not stop. Security forces and officials monitor the entire incident. According to officials, this campaign is one of the largest anti -Naxal operations launched in Bastar region. The campaign contains approximately 10,000 staff members of different units, including District Reserve Guard (DRG), Bastar Fighters, Special Task Force (STF), all units of the State Police, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and its special unit tea. Officials said the Telangana police also have a supporting role in this campaign. Earlier on April 21, there was a shooting between Maoists and security forces in the threat police station in the Bijapur district Bastar. During this time, a price of 3 Lakh Naxalite Vela Wachm died. Naxalite Wacham Ampeli was involved in the explosion incident. In 2024 and 2025, power attacked Maoists in very large naxal operations so far. Head of State Vishnu Dev Sai said the government and our security forces are boldly fighting against the Naxal problem. He also said that on 31 March 2026 Amit Shah, Minister of Home Affairs, decided to end the Naxal problem. Let me tell you: Union Minister AMIT Shah said that by March 2026, Naxalites would be eliminated from Chhattisgarh.
