Puri, June 29 (IANS). After the bumps during the Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, Odisha, IAS officer Chanchal Rana took over as the new Puri district collector. He described the administration as his priority to stream and ensure the safety of commitment. Our attention is that this sacred event must be done uninterrupted.” He said that the administration is completely careful and active. The safety and ease of dedicated is our top priority. We take all the necessary steps to ensure that the remaining days of the Rath Yatra are completed without any disruption. The administration is completely dedicated to this. Rana said that managing a great event like Rath Yatra is a unique experience for us, which not only improves administrative skills, but also inspires to fulfill social and cultural responsibilities. He called on the devoted to follow the guidelines of the administration, so that this sacred event could be done in a peaceful and systematic way. It is noteworthy that the Majhi government has suspended two officers over the incident of Stampede near Gundicha Temple in Puri, Odisha. DCP Bishnu -man and Commandant Ajay Padhi were suspended for negligence on duty. At the same time, Puri District Collector and Superintendent of Police (SP) were also transferred.
