The congress said on Monday, referring to the registration of a case against the leader of the opposition Pratap Singh Bajwa in the Punjab meeting, that the leadership of the AAM AAAM Party (AAP) and Chief Minister Bhagwant Moon is nervous. The party’s secretary, Jairam Ramesh, also said that Congress will not remain silent and will continue to increase the voice of the people of the state. Ramesh posted on “X” yesterday, “in a television interview yesterday, leader of opposition in the Punjab meeting, Pratap Singh Bajwa, revealed that 50 hand grenade was smuggled in the state. His statement was based on the generally reported media reports and it has come to Punjab over the past six months in light of about 16 pomegranate blasts. He said that the chief minister of Punjab, instead of taking the warning seriously, accused Pratap Singh Bajwa of having a relationship with terrorist groups, while he (Bajwa) himself lost his family members due to terrorism. According to Ramesh, an intelligence team was sent to Bajwa’s residence and cases are now registered against him under the Divisions of the Indian Justice Code, 2023. The leader of the congress claims: “It is clear that the chief minister of Punjab -which became a symbol of uncertainty and disability, is the leadership of the corrupt Aadmi -partly. As a result, he (monkey leadership) uses intimidation, slander and threats. But it will have no effect. He claimed that management in Punjab completely collapsed. The Secretary of Congress insisted: “The Indian National Congress cannot be silenced. The congress part will continue to lift the voice of the people in the state firmly.” Bajwa said in an interview to a private television channel: ‘I realized that 50 bombs have reached Punjab. Of these, 18 are torn, 32 still have to burst. Bajwa has made this allegation amid many pomegranate attacks in the state in recent months. A few hours after the leader of opposition was questioned about his claim, police registered a case against him on Sunday because he provided misleading information that threatened the sovereignty and unity of the country. According to sources, a case is under section 197 (1) (d) (false and misleading information, which jeopardizes the sovereignty and unity of the country) and 353 (2) (false statements, which intend to create enmity and hatred or malicious).
