New -Delhi, April 18 (IANS). The renewable energy enterprise ‘Reenen’ inaugurated the 1.3 GW Peak Solar Project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, under the ‘self -sufficient Indian initiative’ in the country. Renew, which operates more than 150 projects, has spread over ten states of the country, developed the project using 100 percent ‘made-bay-arenu’ solar panels, of which 90 percent were built at the Solar Model Manufacturing plant in Jaipur, Reenu. According to Rinue, such a large scale project was completed for the first time in the country with a completely indigenous module. This was revealed by the new renewable energy minister Pralhad Joshi. He said that this day is a historic milestone for the country and is also special for Rajasthan, who according to the hypothesis of Premier Narendra Modi becomes the center of renewable energy revolution. He said: “The inauguration of about 1.3 Gigawatt Peak Solar Site in JaisAlmer is a good example of the contribution to self-sufficient India, which is fully built with the Made-in-India module, with 90 percent built in Rajasthan.” It is noteworthy that there is a sufficient increase in the renewable energy sector sector in the country, with the wind power capacity of 42.8 GW by April 2023 and is expected to increase by 2030 to 63 GW. According to the recent information given by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, the country’s renewable energy capacity in FY 2024-25 has risen with a record of 29.52 GW and to 220 years.
