A New Hampshire voter allegedly slapped a 15-year-old Trump supporter after leaving a polling place during the Granite State’s primary on Tuesday, a report said.
The suspect, 34-year-old Patrick Bradley, confronted the teen — who was wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat at a campaign tent for President Trump — after voting at Windham High School and smacked him across the face, Fox News reported.
Bradley then allegedly hit two adults who tried to intervene in the scuffle, according to the report. He’s also accused of trying to destroy the tent.
The boy’s mother told the news station all her son did was wish Bradley a good night to trigger the alleged assault.
“My son was standing outside on the sidewalk and he said ‘have a nice night,’ he said it to everyone. But this man was triggered,” his mother, Cathy Campbell, told Fox.
“He said ‘f—k you’ to him and wound up his hand as fast as he could and slapped him across the face.”
He was hit with assault and disorderly conduct charges and held on $5,000 bail, according to the report.
