Aiten Amer speaks for the first time about her divorce experience

Egyptian artist Aiten Amer spoke for the first time about her divorce experience from her husband, director of photography, Mohamed Ezz Al Arab.

Aiten Amer confirmed that the experience of divorce is one of the most horrific experiences that any woman goes through in her life, as she said: “People say this is beautiful, even though it is one of the most difficult experiences.”

She added: “Am I not possible to be enlightened after the divorce, but this does not happen because of the divorce? She was enlightened before, but there was a period in which she may have been exhausted and began to feel that she had lost part of her psychological peace, her health, and her mind, and when the divorce occurs, the woman regains her psychological peace.”

She denied that she had separated from her husband because of infidelity, pointing out that she had been betrayed in a previous engagement and not in her marriage.
