Adel Imam helped me in a financial crisis and did not complete a play for me

Egyptian artist Yousra revealed many of the situations that brought her together with the star Adel Imam, in which he stood next to her.

Yousra said: “Adel Imam, in every crisis I went through in my life, was standing with me. One time, no one knew, and I didn’t have money. I was working, but at that time the money wasn’t a lot. I had a Mercedes car that I said I would sell to some extent, may God release it.”

She added: “I found him coming home asking me why I wanted to sell my car? I asked him how did he know? This was 35 years ago. I replied to him that I had no money. He said, ‘No, I don’t follow Arabic.’ He planned to be in a movie in which I would participate, and he said, ‘Ask whatever you want.'”

She remembered another situation, saying: “Once I was very tired and died. I had an operation that lasted 6 hours and my hemoglobin reached 5. He called me and said that he heard that I was tired. I told him, ‘Don’t come, you can’t bear to see me, but he is following up and knows everything.’”

She revealed that he did not complete the performance of a play after learning that it had been in an accident, saying: “Adel Imam never closes the theater, but one time I had an accident from which I had to be brought out dead. At that time, he was presenting a play directed by Professor Sherif Arafa, as soon as he learned that the theater was closed, he and Sherif.” Arafa and Izzat Abu Auf were present at that moment.”
