Don't Speak — Sing! Gwen Stefani Tapped for Judge's Chair on 'The Voice'

Gwen Stefani is about to hollaback at her favorite contestants on NBC’s The Voice.

The ** Doubt frontwoman has signed on to be a judge on the singing competition while Christina Aguilera goes on maternity leave, according to TMZ, which first reported the deal. Season 7 starts taping in June.

Aguilera an**unced her pregnancy in February, and though the network hoped she’d stay on, she’s stepping down – she'd be about ready to pop by the show's end — and is already signed on to return in season eight, TMZ reported.

Stefani won't be the only newbie on the show: NBC recently signed Pharrell Williams to take the chair once occupied by the departed CeeLo Green. Show regulars Adam Levine and Blake Shelton remain in their spinny-chairs, meanwhile. Read more...
