Zuckerberg establishes a group to develop super -intelligence in ‘Meta’

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, has announced a major restructuring in the company’s artificial intelligence unit, including an obligation to develop what he has described as ‘super intelligence’, that is, systems that can perform tasks at a level equivalent to or better than people. In an internal note that Bloomberg saw, Zuckerberg on Monday wrote to employees that artificial intelligence efforts in “Meta” will be included under a new group called “Meta Super Waby Labs”. The new group of Sky Ai CEO Alexander Wang will lead the beginning -up data classification. Wang holds the position of senior officials for artificial intelligence. ‘The superior intelligence in the face of the face’, Zuckerberg Wang described as ‘the most impressive founder in his generation’, adding that Nat Friedman, former Github CEO, ‘will work with Alex to lead the group,’ and the head of the ‘dead’ work on products based on artificial intelligence and applied research. Bloomberg previously reported that Zuckerberg tried to form a team that specializes in excellent intelligence. Zuckerberg wrote in the internal note: “With the acceleration of the frequency of artificial intelligence, the development of super intelligence has become sight,” and adds: “I think it will be the beginning of a new era for humanity, and I am completely committed to doing everything needed to lead this path.” Artificial intelligence has become a top priority for Zuckerberg this year, in light of its competition with companies such as “Opin Ai” and “Google” of “Alphabet”, to develop advanced models and smart assistants who want to become tools everywhere. These investments include infrastructure development, such as electronic chips and data centers, as well as using skills and acquisitions. Investments and strategic appointments that ‘Meta’ invested $ 14.3 billion in “Sky” earlier this month, in collaboration with the appointment of Wang to its new position. The company has also held talks to obtain ‘Portlexity AI Inc’ and ‘Runway AI Inc’, and is expected to acquire a small starting company called ‘Playai’, specializing in artificial intelligence techniques to simulate human sounds. In addition to the restructured team, Zuckerberg has announced 11 new appointments in the field of artificial intelligence, including former researchers in ‘Oben Ai’, ‘Google’ and ‘AnthRouble’. The new team contains prominent names such as Jacques Ray and son of Deepmind, Jia Hui Yu, Shu Chao B, Shingjia Zhao, Hongio Rin, of “Oben Ai”, and Joel Popar of “Anthropic”, who previously worked for “Mita” for more than a decade. Bloomberg revealed some of these appointments in previous reports.
