Dharmendra Pradhan remembered his father

New -Delhi, March 29 (IANS). Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan shared an emotional post on social media platform X on Sunday and his father Debendra Pradhan remembered. Pradhan expressed deep raw and sadness in this post and remembers the moment he spent with his father. Dharmendra Pradhan wrote in the X -mail, “The departure of father stopped a round of affection and Vatsalya. He is remembered every moment that was spent with him. Their deficit will always be missed. He was not just our guide and ideal, our greatest support. Now the absence of the Father is a deep zero in life. He further wrote: “In this sad and difficult time we will be grateful for all the loving to increase the courage of our family through our presence and emotional messages. To Father, you have gave you reverence and unwavering together. Please tell that dr. Debendra Pradhan, father of the Minister of Union Education, Dharmendra Pradhan, died on March 17 in Delhi Aiims. He breathed his last at the age of 84. He was also a minister in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government. The death of Pradhan rages a wave of mourning in the political and social circles of Odisha. His death was also mourned by President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After the death of Debendra Pradhan, Odisha’s chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi also expressed deeply sadness and described him as a ‘popular leader and a competent MP’, who devoted his life to public service. Majhi also highlighted the significant contribution of the Head as the Union Minister of State for Surface Transport and Agriculture (1999–2001) and his impressive role in the formation of the Odisha political and development scenario. At the same time, the leader of the opposition Naveen Patnaik said that Dr. Pradhan was one of the founders leaders of BJP in Odisha and the state president of the party was twice from 1989 to 1993, and then from 1996 to 1997. Pradhan represented Deogarh voting in the 13th Lok Sabha (1998–2004), which served as Minister of State and Lands.
