International Yoga Day 2025: Yoga enthusiasm in South India participated in leaders and citizens
New -delhi, June 21 (IANS). At the 11th International Yoga Day, various states of South India saw enthusiasm for yoga. Leaders, yoga trainers and ordinary people in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Puducherry and Andhra Pradesh participated extensively in yoga programs. On this occasion, a message was given to make yoga a part of life and adopt its physical, spiritual and spiritual benefits. The BJP State President Nanar Nagendran attended the yoga program in Azhar Nagar Park in the Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu. He practiced yoga with party officials and a large number of local people. In this case, the enthusiasm of people towards yoga was clearly visible. Nagendran called on yoga as a precious gift from Indian culture and adopt it in daily life. Union Minister Shobha Karandalaje attended the yoga session in Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka. People of every age group are attracted to it. Earlier people have taken yoga lightly, but now schoolchildren are also doing yoga. Yoga and meditation are most effective in solving problems associated with stress, heart disease and other lifestyle.” Gautam, who describes the special need for children for children, said it helps to increase concentration and focus. The 11th International Yoga Day celebrations held on the Strand Road in Puducherry were inaugurated by Lieutenant -Governor Kailashanathan and Chief Minister Rangasami by yoga Asanas. The program was attended by the speaker of the meeting Selvam, the Minister of Home Affairs, Namdriyam, Public Works and Minister of Tourism, Laxminarayanan and Rajya Sabha LP Selvaganapati. More than 3.500 students and professionals performed yoga asanas during this ceremony, which was jointly organized by tourism, school education, higher and technical education, directorate and pollution control.
