Yoga has become a global movement, the journey to bring the ancient tradition of India to the global stage
New -delhi, June 21 (IANS). International Yoga Day has begun the visionary idea of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which he promised to remove yoga from the cultural heritage of India and take it to the whole world. At the United Nations General Assembly in 2014, Premier Modi proposed to declare June 21 as International Yoga Day. This historical initiative was supported by 177 countries in record time, making the day a symbol of health, harmony and global unity. Padmashri respected yogguru fungi Dr. Bharat Bhushan Dev tells of the social media platform ‘Modi story’ that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the first national leader who saw yoga, not only practice, but as a transformative power, which can become a medium to connect cultures, countries and beliefs around the world. He said that when he met Prime Minister Modi, he said that yoga should be taken around the world. He said that some people would give it religious color, but whether the disease is religious, tension is a religious, in the same way as yoga should not be seen from the point of view of religion. From the enormous yoga sessions on the service path (then Rajpath) to the enthusiastic participation in more than 190 countries, the PM of Premier Modi Yoga made a global festival. Now yoga is not only limited to fitness, but has become a lifestyle that students, soldiers, businesses and ordinary citizens adopt equally. This year, the International Yoga Day was organized in Visakhapatnam, showing the echo and participation of this movement in every corner of the country. Yoga is still connecting the world. Not just as a physical exercise, but from India as a message of peace, balance and overall well -being. -Ians DSC/ABM shares this story -tags
