Xiaomi -Founder leads Jun confirmed Yu7 SUV, Xring O1 Chip and Xiaomi 15s Pro Release | Mint
China’s Xiaomi will reveal its very expected Yu7 Electric Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) this Thursday, along with a series of new products, including a mobile slide developed, the company announced. Market analysts have positioned the YU7 as a potential competitor for Tesla’s best -selling model Y in China, the world’s largest car market. Xiaomi disappointed the enthusiasts last month when he chose not to reveal the vehicle at the Shanghai Auto Show. Lei Jun, the founder and CEO of Xiaomi, shared on his Weibo account that the YU7 launch event would also contain the launch of the Xring O1 Mobile Chip and the new Xiaomi 15s pro -smartphone. After getting into the Electric Vehicle (EV) sector last year with the release of the SU7 sedan, Xiaomi further expanded as his traditional focus on smartphones, home appliances and smart appliances he has sold for over 15 years. Since December, the SU7 sedan has sold Tesla’s Model 3 monthly. However, despite ongoing strong sales, the orders for the SU7 have recently decreased to a fatal accident involving the model in March. In addition to the EV market, China’s smartphone industry remains fiercely competitive, with competitors such as Huawei and Apple printing their own custom chips to create highly integrated ecosystems that improve user experience. In another Weibo update, Le guys revealed that Xiaomi invested 13.5 billion yuan (about $ 1.87 billion) in developing its advanced mobile slide, the Xring O1. Furthermore, the company intends to award at least 50 billion Yuan more to Chip Design over the next decade. A spokeswoman for Xiaomi told Reuters that the 50 billion Yuan investment would start in 2025. Xiaomi started Chip Design in 2014 and launched its first mobile processor-the 28-nanometer Pengpai S1-in 2017, which powered the Xiaomi 5c smartphone. After a few setbacks, the company shifted its focus to simpler chips such as battery management and image processors. Lead emphasizes the strategic importance of slides for Xiaomi’s ambitions and says: “Xiaomi has always had a disk dream, because becoming a big hard technology company, chips are a highlight that needs to be climbed. We will definitely go out.” (With input of Reuters)
