XI Chinfing sent congratulations for the 34th Arab League Shikhar Parishad meeting

Beijing, May 17 (IANS). Chinese President XI Chinfing congratulated Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid, the current president of Arab League Shikhar Parishad, the 34th Arab League Shikhar Parishad meeting in Baghdad. Xi Chinfing said that the Arab League has always been committed to promoting the unity and confidence of the Arab world over the past 80 years since its inception, actively increasing the common voice of Arab countries and promoting peace, stability and prosperity in the midst. Currently, the world is busy with major changes and the situation in the Middle East is developing complicated. Arab countries have emphasized independence, promoted development and revival, as well as fairness and justice and played a positive role in strengthening the global south. XI Chinfing emphasized that China’s relations with Arab countries have tightened over the past few years and have set an example of solidarity and collaboration between developing countries. In December 2022, I attended the first China-Arab Rashtra summit with leaders from Arab countries and we agreed to face everything to build a China-Arab shared future community for the new era. The second China-Arab Nation Summit in 2026 is held in China. It is believed that it will be another important milestone in the history of China-Arab relationships.
