24 percent jump in FY 2025 in the export of commercial vehicles of Isuzu Motors India
New -Delhi, April 18 (IANS). Isuzu Motors India recorded a strong 24 percent growth in its export of commercial vehicles (CV) and reached 20.312 units in FY 2025. This reflects a spectacular refusal of the 16.329 units that are highest among commercial vehicle exporters in the country in the last financial year. Pickup Truck Segment plays the lead role in the global development of the business. The company uses India as a strategic center for both domestic and international markets. Isuju manufactures its vehicles at the SRI City plant in Andhra Pradesh, which supports both the left and right models. These vehicles are exported to countries in Asia and the Middle East, including Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Jordan. As far as export performance is concerned, Isuzu Motors Deputy Management India, Toru Kishimoto, said that the increasing global demand for Isuzu vehicles produced in India reflects the high quality, reliability and performance of their products. “The amount of exports of the business has increased continuously over the years due to the diverse range of vehicles that meet international standards,” he said. Isuzu Motors India started working in 2016 with the launch of its manufacturing plant in Sri City. The plant recently manufactured its 1,00,000th vehicle, which is a large production milestone. The company expanded its operations by adding a press shop and an engine plant in 2020. Apart from exports, the company also strengthens its presence in the domestic market by increasing its sales and service networks. Rajesh Mittal, president and managing director of Isuzu Motors India, said every vehicle manufactured in India follows the same world standards that define the Isuzu brand. “The manufacturing process and quality of the business is designed to meet the needs of customers in India and abroad,” he emphasized. -Ians skt/abm
