In the early 1900s, cameras were earlier heavily manufactured boxes such as a wooden box. It was extremely difficult to raise them and take them somewhere. One of this 1902 camera is still safe near Ranjit Nagar resident and collector of vintage goods, Bablu Lamba. He says such cameras were especially used to take group photos. The vintage camera in the museum in Ranjit Nagar changed in 1939 with L Jagran technology and spying cameras. They were called ‘hit cameras’. When they are small, they are used more during the Cold War. However, it was not easy for the ordinary people. This was followed by Poroid Land cameras in 1948. These were revolutionary changes in their time as it received prints shortly after taking photos. In 1936, the Corona subinature (HIT) camera was invented. They were also called detective cameras. They were used more during the Cold War. Jagran gradually became smaller in the size of the camera. Film role cameras were era in the 70s and 80s. After taking the photo, he had to be washed in the studio, for which he had to wait a few days. The same guard used to be the specialty of memories of that time. The camera’s face has changed completely as soon as it has entered the digital era. Now the cellphone brought a camera into everyone’s hand. After taking photos, it became easier to see, edit and share immediately. There was no need for a big album to save memories. Today, all memories are safe in Mobile Gallery. Bablu Lamba says that looking at the old cameras realizes that photography was not only technology, but also art and hard work. Although it became easy to take photos, the existence of those old cameras reminds us that every era of photography was special in its time.
