In fact, six months ago, a young man was attacked in a broad daylight at Chauhatan Road Gate Overbridge in Barmer City. The young man was seriously injured in the attack. The video of this incident became viral on social media. In light of the seriousness of the case, police began investigation and formed separate teams to look for the accused. Due to the pressure of the police, the accused surrendered to the police superintendent on Monday. Kotwali police officer Balabhadra Singh said Durjan Singh, a Kotwali resident, was arrested by the Kotwali Barmer police station on Monday. He said the accused was brought to the Chauhatan Road bridge for on -site verification, where he was beaten. After this, the accused was taken back to the police station on foot. Police believe that such a public parade will create fear among criminals and that the general public will increase confidence in the police. At the district level, the top -10 accused, a reward of 25 thousand rupees, according to police, has the arrested accused a reward of 25 thousand rupees and he is one of the top 10 criminals in the district. He was in the cases of Kotwali, Sadar, Rural, Bijrad and Jaisalmer Kotwali police stations. A total of 8 cases are registered against the accused. Two of these cases are registered in the Kotwali police station, two in the Sadar police station, one case each in Cedwa, Bijrad and rural police station and one case is registered in Jaisalmer Kotwali police station.
