Menpan-RB emphasizes digitization of the red and white cooperative the economy of the town
Jakarta – Red and White Village/Kelurahan Cooperative (KDMP) was formed at 81,147 Towns/Kelurahan, according to data from 1 August 2025. Minister of Administrative Reformation and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Rini Widini said the presence of KDMP was the management of the people’s economy. He explained that President Prabowo Subianto after the economic wheel driven by KDMP would have consequences for the national increase. “Mr. President said that the shift of the people’s economy from the town is one example of a national revival,” Rini said during the national consolidation meeting and the acceleration of KDMP operationalization, in Denpasar, Bali, quoted from a press release, Friday (8/8/2025). Browse to continue with the content KDMP is a government program to improve the economic well -being of the village community through a populist economic approach. The principle of work is mutual cooperation, kinship and mutual help. This cooperative aims to increase food security, strengthen the village economy and improve community well-being through savings and loan services, marketing of local products and the empowerment of villageMSMEs. “The state is not only present as a facilitator, but also becomes a driver by opening access, deciding dependence and strengthening the people’s economy,” Rini explained. Although the number of KDMP exceeded the target, the digitization of business processes and KDMP database management is no less important. “This digital transformation will be the key to ensuring that cooperative performance is more effective, transparent and adaptable to times,” Rini said. He explained that the integration and digitalization of KDMP united the entire village cooperative service platform into an integrated system to facilitate verification, guidance, monitoring and reporting. Important data such as identity, licensing, assets and cooperative finance are automatically connected by the government service link system (SPLP). The realization of the National Dashboard becomes a strategic tool for planning, evaluating and making decisions based on data. “With this integration, cooperative management is expected to be faster, transparent and quality,” he said. The use of digital public infrastructure (DPI) in KDMP is aimed at facilitating the analysis of development and business risks, as well as to support the monitoring of cooperative management skills. With data integration, cooperative business can be directed by regional potential and thus increases the success and sustainability of cooperatives. According to him, in the context of digital transformation of village cooperatives, it is necessary to realize the integration of national digital services with the manual to manual cooperative management strategy in an integrated manual. Collaborative data from the village level to the center are linked by national codification and the use of digital infrastructure such as NIC authentication. The central and regional systems are interconnected to monitor the progress, finance and cooperative services in real time. “The digital inclusive and literacy approach is also reinforced so that all towns, including in the 3T region (decline, front and outer), can participate in this digital ecosystem,” Rini said. “The role of the PanRB Ministry supports fully priority programs launched by President Prabowo Subianto. Usage preference is determined based on initiatives corresponding to the president’s priority programs and strategic supporting sectors such as poverty alleviation, business services, government administration, government revenue and life cycle services,” he concluded.
