Establishing PACs in every Panchayat of the country by 2029: AMIT Shah

New -Delhi, May 18 (IANS). Union Minister Amit Shah addressed the Mahasammelan in the Gujarat State Cooperative Association’s ‘Role of Cooperatives’ in Ahmedabad on Sunday. He said the Modi government has set up Tribhuvan Cooperative University, which will work at national level. In each state of the country, a system of reading was made with the concept of cooperative in all areas associated with cooperatives. He said that the cooperative structure could not be strengthened until we strengthened the Primary Agricultural Loening Committee (PACs), which is why the Modes government has decided to establish PACs in each pancayat of the country until 2029. According to this decision, 2 lakh new parcels and dairy will be registered. The government has worked to connect about 22 different types of activities with parcels. The government will soon bring a policy for disposing of parcels in liquidation and new parcels. Interior Minister Amit Shah said the United Nations decided to celebrate 2025 as an ‘international collaboration year’. The word cooperative is still just as relevant to the whole world as in the year 1900. Led by Premier Narendra Modi, a great effort from 2021 began reviving the cooperative movement in India and it was decided to start the cooperation year in India. He further stated that as part of the beginning led by Premier Modi in 2021, two sources of ‘Sahakar’s Samriddhi’ and ‘Roll or Cooperatives in the developed India’ were placed before the country. This cooperative conference was arranged in Gujarat today. The cooperative sector cannot be strong until the benefits of the change in the cooperative sector reach the parcels and farmers at the lower level. Therefore, it is very important that we transmit cooperative institutions. We must make efforts to create awareness, training and transparency in all kinds of collaborative institutions. The Minister of Home Affairs said that the Government of India emphasized the science of cooperation and science in collaboration during the international cooperation year. During the freedom movement, the cooperative movement in the country was gradually completed in a large part of the country. It is our responsibility to expand cooperatives to every state and district under this movement. The status of primary cooperative associations in each state must also be strengthened, institutions at district level must be strong and by them the state and national level cooperative structure must also be strong. He said we added the fourth level to the imagination of the global cooperative structure with three levels that have been going on for many years. It is essential to deliver cooperatives across the country by strengthening national institutions, cooperative institutions at the state level, district -level institutions and primary cooperative associations of each field associated with each collaborative activity of collaborative activities. For this we must use the international cooperation year. He said that this entire campaign is based on three pillars, which make cooperatives a part of the most important stream of management, brings transparency and authenticity through technology into collaborative movement and speeds up the process of connecting more and more citizens with collaborative movement. The Ministry of Cooperation of the Government of India has so far been a need to work during the collaboration year on the basis of these three pillars, and for this about 57 initiatives have been made. -Ians SK/ABM shares this story tags
