Watch out, Springfield Elementary Students: Jimbo Jones has a new voice, and we’re Guessing He won’t be afraid to use it to serve up his signature brand of remarks and insults, not least of which includes his classic “Bite me” Catchphrase. The Simpsons casting team Were forced to recast the character after Pamela Hayden announced her retirement from the beloved animated sitcom last year, and, according to Entertainment Weekly, Bart Won’t Be Escaping His Bullies Any Time Soon, AS Parks and Recreation Actor Mo Collins is going to bring the character back.

Collins will make her official debut as the Beanie-Wearing Bully in the Fourteenth Episode of Season 36 of The Simpsonstitled “Ps i hate you,” when it releases on Apr. 13. The long-running cartoon aired its first episode back in 1989, and it has remained a staple on television for the past two decades despite there being several cast changes, particular in recent years. The show has just been renewed for an additional four seasons on fox, bringing it to season 40, which means collins could have many more days as Jimbo Ahead of her in future episodes.

She gave her final performance on the show in “Treehouse of Horror Presents: Simpsons Wicked This Way Comes,” which aired on Nov. 24, 2024.

“The time has come for me to hang up my microphone, but how do i say goodbye to The Simpsons? …… Not easily, “The actress said in a statement at the time.” It’s a honor and a joy to have worked on such a funny, witty, and groundbreaking show, and to give voice to milhouse (and Jimbo Jones, Rod Flanders, Janey, Malibu Stacy, and Many Others). Bart’s Becled Buddy Milhouse has yet to be recasted, but an annuncement is expected to be made later this season, so watch this space.
