ODISHA: JP Nadda inaugurated the Central Research Laboratory in Aiims Bhubaneswar, announced the opening of Skin Bank in the future

Bhubaneswar, April 12 (IANS). Union Health Minister JP Nadda on Saturday inaugurated the Central Research Laboratory (Central Research Laboratory) at Aiims Bhubaneswar. On this occasion he also laid the foundation stone of a multi-utility block. The event is considered an important step towards the progress and excellence of the Institute. According to the Ministry of Health, the central research laboratory aims to promote modern and advanced medical research. This laboratory will strongly help doctors, researchers and scientists develop impressive health care solutions and bring Aiims Bhubaneswar into the country’s important medical research centers. Multi-uutility (Gastronomy) Block is a modern infrastructure project designed to meet the changing needs of students, teachers, employees and the general public. This block will provide the necessary facilities under the same roof, which will improve both operational efficiency and the community participation within the premises. On this occasion, the Union Minister also launched a new website of Aiims Bhubaneswar, which is more user -friendly and has several integrated services available to patients and visitors. The site also shows the cultural heritage of Odisha. JP Nadda also inaugurated the EHS Clinic and Amrit Pharmacy, which will provide affordable medicine and essential health services to the people. He also informed that a skin bank will be established in Aiims Bhubaneswar in the future. During his visit, the Minister also visited the Burn Center, which is the only center in East India, and plays an important role in the care of serious patients. In addition, he also examined the beauty exhibition, integrated health and wellness clinic, rheumatology and Jeriatric clinic, newborn intensive care unit (NICU) and also planted a plant in Smriti Upvan.
