The accident happened due to the loss of the driver’s bus and the bus overturned. All the students on it were students of the college. Once the news of the incident was received, the locals began the rescue work. Among the dead, a student was identified as Asia Rashid, who was a resident of Sogam. 20-25 girls drove in the bus. Local people said there were 20-25 girls in the bus. A local resident said he saw a crowd near the university bus was very bad. He said the people were taken to the hospital in the bus. The ambulance did not get there, even after calling the ambulance repeatedly. The injured were rushed to JMC Hospital. He said the injured were taken to J MC Cupwara.
