While sharing information about the project on X, Godda MP Nishikant Dubey said that the bridge would connect its villages Vikramshila and Bhawanipur via Doghar-Goddda. He also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Minister of Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. There are currently large bridges such as Vikramshila Bridge, parallel bridge under the construction, Sultanganj-Ahuwani Bridge and Vijay Ghat Bridge on the Ganges River in Bhagalpur. Now this new rail bridge is the first of Bhagalpur and the fifth rail bridge in Bihar. More than two hundred hectares of land are obtained for this 26.23 km of long new double railway. According to railway officials, as most of the land is for the bridge in the Ganges River area, there will not be much problems in the acquisition of land. The project was included in the budget for the year 2016-17, but now it is embodied. The bridge will be built in Y -shape, which enables rail connection to Qataria and Navagachia stations in the north and Vikramashila and Shivnarayanpur stations in the south. This project will not only reinforce the contact between North and South Bihar, but Bhagalpur will also have a direct rail connection from the areas of Kosi, Seemanchal, Aung and Jharkhand. This bridge will also be an alternative railway for the northeastern states. After completing the project, it will be possible to run new trains from Bhagalpur, which will help passengers reach better facilities and early destination. This bridge will open a new door for the economic and social development of the entire region. Share this story -tags
