Tory Shadow Minister Says ‘Extremist’ lib dems have ‘too many vegans’ – ryan

It’s very bizarre how this narrative still exists and is largely unchallenged. They’re literally smashing any random conservative talking points they can think of together, regardless of whether it’s coherent at all.

It seems to me that the point of calling people vegan as a pejorative (or tofu eating or oat milk drinking etc.) is to paint them as being out of touch, wealthy, elites – not working class. Is there anything at all to support this? Where does that idea even come from?

And of course, the fact that it’s only ever conservatives that say this is deeply ironic.
