Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar again on Ashok Holded Retirement - "I don't press under pressure or come under pressure"

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Monday refuted Ashok by former chief minister of “work under pressure” for the operation of persons sitting in constitutional positions. He described the statement of Gehlot as unfounded and said in clear terms that he did not put anyone under pressure and did not work under any pressure. Vice President Dhankar said: “Until now, the governor has been easily targeted, but now the vice president and the president are also dragged. I clearly say that there is no pressure on me. I have worked with independent thinking throughout my life and will continue to do so.” Dhankar didn’t stop here. He further said that even leaders like the Lok Sabha speaker around Birla can never come under pressure. “The Rajasthan person is hardworking and he never comes under pressure,” he said. Former Chief Minister Gehlot recently claimed in a statement that people sitting in constitutional positions are under pressure from government or other powers, which weaken democracy. In response to this statement, the Vice President responded and repeated the strength of democracy. Dhankhar also added in his statement that constitutional institutions are the backbone of the country and that their honor should be maintained. Any kind of doubt or accusation harms the dignity of these institutions, which is harmful to democracy. Political analysts believe that this statement from the Vice President directly criticizes the political style of the former chief minister in which he questioned the role of constitutional officials. This conflict can once again bring warmth into Rajasthan politics. From this entire incident, it is clear that the debate on the role and fairness of constitutional institutions in the political discourse may increase in the coming days. Share this story -tags
