Amit Shah has launched development projects worth more than Rs 800 crore, target RJD leadership
Home Affairs Minister Amit Shah celebrated the International Co -operative Day on Sunday by starting several major development initiatives in Bihar, costing more than Rs 800 crore. His visit to the state has been the basis of important infrastructure projects for the inauguration of new schemes and improvement in different regions across the region. Shah unveiled schemes worth Rs 111 crore of the cooperative department and Rs 421 crore of the Department of Urban Development and Housing. In addition, he laid the foundation stone for 133 police buildings that cost Rs 181 crore and announced the launch of three national highways and road transport projects that cost Rs 109 crore. An important part of the program was a distant inauguration of the Makhana Processing Unit in the Fisherman Cooperative Society in Darbhanga, which aims to promote local agriculture and promote rural economy. In an important step in promoting digital banking, Shah micro -cocks spread to the ‘Bank Friends’ of Bihar State Cooperative Bank as part of the state level conference arranged in the presence of representatives of primary agricultural cooperative associations and other cooperatives. This initiative is expected to bring banking services closer to rural areas and increase financial inclusion. The program was attended by the Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, as well as several union and minister of state and senior officials. Shah’s visit emphasizes the growing cooperative efforts between the central and state governments to strengthen the development of infrastructure in Bihar and strengthen the cooperative movement. Later, Shah to address a public rally in the Gopalganj district before serving the meeting with NDA leaders in the main minister’s home in Patna. During his speech, Shah launched a stunning attack on the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leadership, especially the former Bihar chief minister, Lalu Prasad Yadav. Shah has accused the Lalu-Rabri rule of promoting ‘Jungle Raj’ in the state, claiming that the RJD government has done very little work to develop rural economy. He claimed that among RJD several sugar factories were closed in Bihar, and that the state had high crime rates, including kidnapping and murders.
