Former Education Minister Kanwarpal Gujjar said with reporters that the countrymen today remind how the Constitution died during the emergency. He said the Allahabad High Court canceled the election and that Indira Gandhi ruled that he could not stay in any post for six years. To avoid this decision, he implemented the emergency.
