Couple go out for meal—then restaurant sends them what CCTV captured – ryan
A couple have gone viral after their laughing fit in a restaurant so entertained the staff that they sent them footage of the moment.
Rosie Evans, 30, and her partner Chris, 31, recently went out for a meal to local Italilan restaurant Zitto e Mangia in their hometown of Tewkesbury, England, where they ended up in fits of giggles.
“We’re always winding each other up and having fun but we do have our spats,” Evans said. “We will laugh ourselves into an argument and laugh ourselves back out of one!”
One of their laughing fits caught the attention of restaurant staff members, and after their meal, Evans was sent CCTV of their interactions, as she explained: “They were laughing to themselves about us, decided to check the footage and wanted to share it with me.”
In a video posted to her TikTok account @rosieevanss17x on April 8, Evans begins by writing: “When you get sent CCTV of nearly 10 mins of you and your partner just constantly laughing like this.”
And sure enough, the clip shows Evans and Chris sitting at a table, trying to speak to each other but both suddenly collapsing into laughter, Chris throwing his head back and laughing so hard he almost knocks over a glass.

Evans has her head on the table, seemingly unable to talk, as Chris continues his belly laugh, and she moves the glass out of his way to avoid an accident.
And when she pulls out a note of cash from her bag, the belly-busting laughter begins again, until both of them appear close to tears.
The restaurant’s owner, Natasha, told Newsweek she has known Evans for years, and is a client of hers at the holistic and beauty business Evans works at. “Her and Chris are a fab couple, they have a lovely relationship, and it transpires in that clip,” she said. “It’s great when you can laugh together—and at each other!—like that.”
She added: “I can honesty say, the whole episode was hysterical. I was in stitches watching them falling about laughing, hence downloading the clip and sending it to them. I’ve watched it several times myself, and every time it makes me chuckle. They just couldn’t compose themselves.”
Evans wrote in a caption that it was “over the most stupid stuff too,” and described it to Newsweek as a “you had to be there” moment.
“It’s so ridiculous really,” she said. “We were laughing about a £5 note! We were talking about payment for the meal and Chris saying he had a fiver, and it sent me.
“Could well have been his tone of voice,” she said. “Writing it out it definitely doesn’t sound funny!”
But to TikTok users, what caused the laughter wasn’t important. The video received over 120,000 views; one commenter wrote: “Gonna save this for rainy days when I’m depressed because one video of 2 strangers laughing with no context has completely fixed my bad mood.”
Another agreed: “Laughing is so contagious! I’m even laughing and don’t even know what’s going on!”

“That’s how a relationship should be,” another said, while one pointed out: “I love how he constantly grabs you when laughing. I do that too with my husband and don’t have control of it!”
And as one shared their own story: “This is literally my husband and I… Worst is when we get the giggles late at night and we need to keep quiet because of the kids And I laugh like a possessed goat!”
Laughter is one of the best ways to reduce stress, and has physical benefits for the body too, according to the Mayo Clinic.
Laughter enhances your intake of oxygen, stimulates your hart, lungs and muscles, and increases endorphins released by the brain. It also stimulates circulation and aids muscle relaxation to reduce physical signs of stress.
