Digital Payment Service resumes by UPI to Technical Disorders (Lead-1)

New -delhi, April 12 (IANS). Digital Payment Service by Unified Payments Interface (UPI) recovered for most users on Saturday and as before. Earlier, many UPI users have had problems with this service for some time. Although the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) has not yet confirmed the recovery of UPI service, but users in Delhi-NCR have provided information on successful digital payment through smartphone programs. Earlier in the afternoon, digital services were disrupted on many online payment platforms across the country, causing problems with shopping, account payments and business transactions. According to the detector detector, 2.358 complaints were filed until 13:00. 81 percent of the largest number of complaints associated with UPI service was recorded over payment. At the same time, 17 percent of complaints about the transfer of funds were recorded. At the same time, NPCI gave information about ‘technical problems’ through a post on social media platform X. It also mentioned problems in UPI transactions. It was further said by NPCI: “We are working on this problem and will continue to update. We are sorry for the inconvenience to the users.” Important banking programs such as SBI, ICICI and HDFC have also been affected by UPI service. UPI transactions are very popular in India. Even that set a new record during each passing month. According to NPCI’s latest data, UPI recorded the amount of 18.3 billion transactions in March, while the amount of transactions in February was 16.11 billion. A 13.59 percent increase was recorded monthly for the amount to transactions. The UPI-based transaction records in March were Rs 24.77 Lakh Crore, which in February is 12.79 percent more than Rs 21.96 Lakh Crore.
