During the state’s banquet organized on Friday night in honor of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Mujju thanked the government of India for the ongoing support and strong friendship. Mujju, who emphasizes the 60 -year -old diplomatic relations between Maldive and India, described them as a reflection of shared history and permanent partnership. According to a statement issued by the president’s office, Mujju said the relationship between Maldive and India is beyond formal diplomacy and has deep relationships for centuries. He said that the Maldives government is committed to building an inclusive and dynamic economy, empowering youth and ensuring peace and security in the region. President Mujju has acknowledged that India’s partnership is important to realize these ambitions. Mujju confirmed Maldive’s dedication to further strengthen this special relationship, and wanted a rich Maldive India partnership that brought permanent peace and prosperity to both countries.
