According to a statement issued by the president’s office, Mujju said the relationship between Maldive and India is beyond formal diplomacy and has deep relationships for centuries. He said that the Maldives government is committed to building an inclusive and dynamic economy, empowering youth and ensuring peace and security in the region. President Mujju has acknowledged that India’s partnership is important to realize these ambitions.
