Two workers for child development projects arrested on charges of bribery in Supaul, DM confirmed

A major attack was conducted on Thursday (July 24, 2025) in the office of the Child Development Project in the Bihar District, in which two employees were caught with a red hands. This action was led by the District Magistrate (DM) Sawan Kumar personally. The arrested employees include the District Program Officer (DPO) Shobha Sinha and computer operator Chandan Kumar. DM Sawan Kumar confirmed the case and said that strict action is being done against corruption and that the culprits will not be spared. During the attack, the authorities gathered tremendous evidence and took bribes and arrested both employees. This action also gave light to the honesty and transparency of the administration. Various schemes operate under the Child Development Project in the Supaul district, which aims to ensure the nutrition and development of children.
