Two senior Maoists were killed in a meeting with security forces at Mohla-Manpur Ambagarh Outpost District, officials said on Wednesday. Police district backing agent YP Singh said on Wednesday afternoon that the meeting near Retgaon in the Banda Pahar area took place in the Madanwara police station. Sinha said: “The meeting took place during the anti-Maoist campaign and many hours in the forest. The bodies of two Maoists killed in the search were restored.” He said both were identified as the Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee (DKSZCM) member Vijay Reddy and DKSZCM’s division of the Rajnadgaon bacter division. Wash. Police officers said supplemental information about his role in the banned CPI (Maoist) organization will be released later. SP said: “This campaign is part of an acute campaign against Maoist activities in the Bastar region. We are still looking for the area as weapons and bodies can be restored.” He further said that the campaign, despite the rain in the area, is underway. This year, 229 Maoists have died so far in Chhattisgarh in the meeting in Chhattisgarh. Of these, 208 died in the Bastar division, including Bijapur, Bastar, Cancer, Konadagaon, Narayanpur, Sukma and Dantewada. Share this story -tags
