Mixed reviews on key issues despite the overall decline, Trump received a modest boost in the approval of his economic management, with 38% expressing support – of 35% in the previous poll. In immigration, approval also had a slight uptick to 43%, from 41%. Poll contains an outline of the Reuters/Ipsos recording had an error margin of 3 percentage points. The findings suggest that although some of Trump’s core policy areas see marginal improvements in public perception, it does not have a broader profit in overall approval. Trump has campaigned on promises to strengthen the US economy and enforce stricter immigration control.
