New -Delhi, May 18 (IANS). On Saturday, 15 corporate councilors from AAM AADMI Party (AAP) resigned and announced the establishment of a new party in Delhi. Hemchand Goyal, who leads the resigned councilors, said on Sunday that the party leadership was being ignored and a lack of liability to the public forced him to take this great step. Hemchand Goyal, while talking to the news agency, said that the AAM Aadmi party government was in the municipal corporation in Delhi. However, there was no concrete work in the area. The public had to face daily questions, but when we talked to the party leadership, we had no audience. Through this neglect, we jointly resigned and now formed a new party. He said that this decision was not made suddenly, but that the screenplay was written about 20 days ago. He said it was clear in the mayor’s election that the party leadership had already ceased weapons. Our number was over 130, the majority needed 126, but we were reduced to 113 and the BJP reached 117. The congress also had 8 councilors. In such a situation, if the AAM AADMI party spoke to Congress, we could make the mayor. However, the party leadership kept himself out of the mayor’s election and played with the mandate of the people of Delhi. Goyal, in terms of serious questions about the operation of the corporation, said that the house lasted only one day in two and a half years, also during the budget session. If the house does not work, how will the problems of the region arise? The municipal corporation means decentralization of power, which leads to development at the local level, but the AAM AADMI party puts all the rights in its hands. Neither the Standing Committee was established, nor could other committees work smoothly. With the example of the municipal situation, he said that the tender of the garbage company in the central zone was over, but the new tender was not removed, which caused the cleaning system to collapse. Hemchand Goyal made it clear that his new party was not formed for any political advantage. He said we do not divorce to dispute any election. Our goal is only to become a public voice in the municipal corporation. If it is the ruling party, whether it is BJP or someone else, we will support it. If the AAM AADMI party talks about public interest, even after staying in opposition, we will also support them. He said that 15 councilors are currently with him and that even more evil councilors can join him in the future. He said that we are open to all the councilors who want to work in the public interest. -Ians psk/abm
