Travis Barker’s son is following in his dad’s footsteps.

On Monday, April 14, the Blink 182 drummer, 49, shared a post on Instagram featuring several photos and a video of him drumming from the first weekend of Coachella 2025. In the carousel post, Barker shared a photo of his 17-month-old son, Rocky Thirteen, whom he shares with Kourtney Kardashian Barker, practicing some percussion on his very own Travis Barker drum pad.

Barker revealed during an exclusive interview with PEOPLE after his Run Travis Run 5K in New Orleans, that his youngest son was already starting to drum and that he’s playing the instrument “constantly, 24/7.” He also told PEOPLE that as his children continue to grow, he hopes he and his wife can “just lead by example,” as they develop.

“I hope we just lead by example,” he told PEOPLE, after he and Kardashian Barker finished the run hand-in-hand. “I mean (Rocky), he just turned 15 months today, and he’s like already playing drums and guitar and everything, so I feel like all we can do is steer them.”

“I think you’re born with like this DNA of who you are, but, like, we could always be there to just, you know, lead them in the right direction,” he added, sharing that he also plays guitar.

The couple has a blended family with each star having three children from previous relationships. Kardashian Barker shares Mason, Penelope and Reign with her ex Scott Disick, while Barker is father to his son Landon, daughter Alabama and his stepdaughter Atiana, all of whom he shares with ex-wife Shanna Moakler. The pair welcomed their Rocky together in November 2023.

“I love the idea of a blended family. I think that the more kids, the merrier. You have all these siblings and more people to love. It’s a beautiful thing,” Kardashian Barker said during the season 2 finale of The Kardashians.

While both Kardashian Barker and Barker are used to being in front of a camera, the most adorable moments are the ones they share with their children. They are often the stars of adorable TikTok videos, doing everything from trendy lip syncs and family challenges.

“We usually get like suckered into those things, but it’s pretty funny,” he told PEOPLE, referring to the TikToks that his children get him and Kardashian Barker to record.
