Jakarta – Traffic from the direction of Ciputat in the direction of Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta, experienced traffic jams this morning. The congestion was caused by the excavation of the water pipeline project around Lebak Bulus and the existence of traffic density. “From yesterday, we informed members to prepare for attempts to regulate the early impact of this (drinking water pipeline project),” Ciputat Timur chief commissioner Bambang Askar Sodiq said when he was contacted on Tuesday (8/19/2025). He said traffic is currently experiencing traffic jams around the location, but vehicles can still run. Meanwhile, a number of points this morning experienced traffic jams from the direction of Ciputat to Lebak Bulus, one of which was at the Situ Gitung Red Light, the UIN intersection, the rear round in front of the onion lecturer complex and the construction project around the Lebak Bulus South Jakarta market.
