Threatened to bomb a bank branch of Indore via email, police on high warning
According to police, a branch of Punjab National Bank (NB) in Indore received a bomb threats by e -mail on Thursday morning, but later confirmed that it was a false news. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Commissioner Rajesh Dandotia said this threatening message was sent to MG Road at 6:57 p.m. from a Hotmail account in the Siaganj area. No suspicious object was found, he said that after the bank officials notified the police, the bomb development group was sent to the place and that the campus was searched. The officer told PTI language: “Mail claims that an explosive equipment with remote control is installed in the PNB branches and can explode at any time. The person who sends the message has described himself as the retired assistant police commissioner.” Dandotia said: “No suspicious item has been found in the bank branch yet. The bank employees are currently doing their job in the branch.” The investigation was continued, and the Dandotia further stated that a technical investigation was underway regarding the rumor of the bomb and the CCTV footage of the bank branch is now being investigated. He also informed that similar endangered emails were received earlier by arresting places such as airport, hospitals and schools in the financial center of Madhya Pradesh, and one accused, in one such case.
