The team, Kamel, the Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, Minister of Industry and Transport, inspected the regional road accident site in Menoufia, which killed 18 girls and a microbus driver.

The Minister directed, during his tour, starting urgent reforms of the road and reorganizing the movement on it, especially in vital transit points, stressing that the road will be developed and that this tragedy will not be repeated.

The minister stressed that the next stage will witness a great stress in censorship and a strict application of the law, and that the regional road and other highways will be subject to a comprehensive reassessment in terms of design, traffic control and transit areas, and that everyone who erred will be held accountable and no one is above the law.

The regional road witnessed a tragic accident when a speedy trail collided with a microbus car carrying 22 girls from the village of Kafr El -Sanabsa working on grape farms, and the collision resulted in the death of 19 people (including 18 girls and the microbus driver) and the injury of three others.
